December NTCH Meeting
I hope you are looking forward to the Christmas season just as we are. Yes, that’s right! Christmas!!!
Our NTCH December meeting will be a bit different from the last few years. We will still carol and have a time of fellowship, but we have simplified things a bit and hope more folks will be able to make it out.
We will meeting at Manchester Manor, in Manchester at 385 West Center Street at 6pm on Monday, December 12. We’ll join in the Recreation Room at 6 then move to the wings for caroling. After caroling, we have the rec room reserved until 8pm for fellowship. If you like, please bring a refreshment to share.
We hope you can make it out and get a great start to your Christmas season.
Meeting – This Coming Tuesday
Given the unforgettable October storm and other life “stuff” we are very late getting notice out to everyone about the goings on with NTCH this month.
There WILL be a November meeting and the meeting is next Tuesday, 11/15, @ 7pm at PCM. Please check our location for the address and directions if needed.
Donna Person will represent the state-wide support organization TEACH at the meeting. She will have some prepared content, but the agenda always adjusts as we field questions. This will be a great oppurtunity to invite anyone considering homeschooling, or anyone just starting out that may have many questions or just need a supportive group to encourage them.
The storm has given us much opportunity to realize all that we should continually be thankful for and also revealed some things that are very telling of the time we live in as homeschooling, God honoring families. Ron Hocutt, our NTCH Board Chairman, may lead us in some discussion on this timely topic as well.
We will discuss December meeting plans at the meeting as well.
There will be no newsletter this month.
We look forward to seeing everyone and don’t forget, bring a friend (or two!!)
Hymn Sing Cancelled
Our homeschool hymn sing at Manchester Manor is cancelled this month. Our next one will be November 25th. Thanks!
